A Las Vegas restaurant is giving new meaning to a "cut above the rest."
Earlier this week, STK at the Cosmopolitan introduced a steak knife covered in 300 pink sapphires, weighing 6.5 karats, according to The Las Vegas Sun.
According to STK at the Cosmopolitan, the Pink Sapphire Knife is intended to be the female-friendly complement to a diamond-encrusted steak knife that the restaurant already had, which is worth $15,000. The sapphire knife retails for $12,000.
At STK, not any person off the street gets to use the cutlery, however. The knife is invite-only and celeb couples like Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani and Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were forced to share when there was only one studded piece of silverware available at the restaurant.
